Pandanus Leaves (Bai Toey)
Pandanus leaves are green in colour, long and narrow in shape and have a delicate odour. They are used as flavouring and colouring especially in thai desserts e.g. Puffy Cups - Kanom Tuay Foo, Mung Bean Stuffing - Kanom Tua Paep, Sweet Sticky Rice - Khao Neow Kaew. Pandamus leaves are also used in some dishes e.g. Fried Chicken with pandamus leaves - Gai Hoh Bai Toey.
