Basil (Horapa)
The Basil leaves are green in colour with a slight aniseed flavour and a size about 2-2.5 cm. long, 1-2 cm. wide. Normally, the leaves and the clusters are used and most commonly in curries contained coconut milk e.g. Green Curry - Gaeng Kiew Waan, Red Chicken Curry - Gaeng Gai etc. Also,they are eaten raw as condiment with many dishes e.g. Springrolls - Porpia Taud
